Madhya Pradesh state government launched MP Pankh Scheme / मध्य प्रदेश पंख अभियान योजना on January 24, 2021. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan initiated this Pankh Yojana under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme. The main goal of MP Pankh Abhiyan is to help girls’ empowerment and growth. The National Day of Young/Child Girls has been observed every year since 2008 to spread awareness about the inequality and atrocities that girls must face in our patriarchal society.

Madhya Pradesh Pankh Scheme Details
MP Pankh Yojana is a statewide program for girls’ protection, awareness, nutrition, knowledge, and health. This will help remove all obstacles they face when they want to spread their wings and fly. The state government of Madhya Pradesh launched the MP Pankh scheme under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme. The complete figure of MP Bach Yojana is as follows: –

CM stated that not only girls should be trained in self-defense techniques such as judo and karate, but they should also be equipped with weapons so that they can defend themselves. Reforms are needed in the judicial system so that whoever rapes a girl is punished by death. After ensuring safety, health, and education for girls through Pankh Yojna, the vision of women’s empowerment will be realized.
The chief minister also mentioned that the government of Madhya Pradesh. It will come with legal provisions to verify the exposure of obscene material on OTT platforms that can negatively affect young minds. During the event, the chief minister received a woman from Vidisha, who filed a complaint against her husband for raping their daughter. The man is now in prison. The woman received financial assistance after her husband was imprisoned. More and more women must take courageous steps like these when facing injustice.
Health / Education / Security in MP Bank Abhiyan
Representative Pankh Abhiyan will help energize the girls to use their potential optimally. The calendar for the next two months has already been prepared within the framework of the Pankh scheme and with the help of the various departments involved, girls ’health, education and security will be guaranteed. Governmental MP has many efforts that have been made to strengthen women’s self-help groups. Empowering women is a task that everyone must work for. CM has also announced scholarships of Rs. 6.47 crores to 26,099 girls under Ladley Laxmi Yojana.
Advancement of the Girl Child to Make Society More Inclusive
There is a need to advance the child and make our society more inclusive which can be achieved through the MP Pankh scheme. Many leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, conveyed their wishes on the occasion.
The Prime Minister tweeted, “On National Day of the Girl Child, we salute Desh Ki Beatty and achievements in various fields. The central government has undertaken many initiatives focused on empowering the girl child, including access to education, improving health care and improving gender sensitivity.”
