The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) mission began on June 25, 2015, and aims to provide housing for all in urban areas by 2022. • After going to the website, hover over the “Citizen Assessment” link in the menu and select one of the options.
• If you currently live in a slum, click “For Slum Dwellers” or click “Benefits among the other three components.”
• After clicking on this link, you will see the following screen as shown below.

• On this screen, you must write your Aadhaar number or your default ID write your name in the text box as it is written on the Aadhaar card, and click “verify“.
• If your Aadhaar number and name are correct, you will have to open an application form similar to the image below, where you will have to fill in all of your information and click on the “Submit / Secure” button at the bottom.

• If the Aadhaar number is wrong, try again by filling in the correct Aadhaar number.
• If you do not have an Aadhaar number, you will not be able to apply.
• After clicking the “Submit” button, an order number will be provided on the screen that you can print.
• Write this order number anywhere so that in the future you can know the status of your application.

Required Documents and PMAY Fees

• The Aadhaar number and passport-size photo are included in the required documents.
• A fee of Rs 25 will be charged by the General Facilitation Center to apply the scheme.
• After applying, a declaration will be delivered to each applicant.
• A photo of the applicant will be presented on it and the application number written on it.
• The application number will be different for each applicant, and through it, the application status can be found.
