The scheme for Deendayal clinics was announced in the state budget for 2020-2021, but it cannot be implemented because the entire organs of the Ministry of Health have been working in the fight against the epidemic since March. “Deendayal Yojana” is a permanent state government scheme that will help poor people get treatment near their homes.

There are many slums/favelas where no ambulances or auto rickshaws can enter. People from these areas avoid seeing a doctor during the first stage of the disease. They will go to a private doctor or government clinic after the disease gets worse.
Treatment Appointments at the Deendayal Clinics
Deendayal Clinics in Gujarat will remain open all day. MBBS or AYUSH doctors will treat outpatients and provide medication for free between 4 PM and 6 PM every day. More than five Deendayal Clinics will be started in Ramdev Pir Tekra locality in Ahmedabad which has a population of around 30,000.
