Haryana Kisan Pension Scheme
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar officially announced the launch of the Haryana Kisan pension Scheme on February 25, 2019. All small and marginal farmers in the state will benefit from this scheme.
Now state farms will benefit from both projects. Under Haryana Kisan’s pension scheme, the government will cover small and marginal farmers with a monthly income of 15,000 rupees. The Haryana Kisan pension system aims to provide a better livelihood for state farmers.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar proposed an increase of 250 rupees per month in the old age pension. With this, the same amount will be increased to 2,750 rupees from 2,500 rupees per month, Khattar said while presenting the state budget.
Eligibility and required documents for the Haryana Kisan Pension Scheme
The government has launched the Kisan Pension Yojana scheme for poor and marginal farmers whose monthly income is less than Rs 15,000 and who own land up to 5 acres. The purpose of this Kisan Pension Scheme is to provide a better livelihood to the farmers of the state.
Below are the eligibility criteria required to apply for the scheme.
- This scheme applies to small and marginal farmers and people working on farms.
- Farmers who must be 58 years of age or younger are eligible for the scheme.
- Farmers who own agricultural land of 5 acres are eligible for this scheme.
- A farmer who is a permanent resident of Haryana is eligible to apply for the scheme.

How to apply online for the Haryana Kisan Pension Scheme
For this scheme, a separate committee will be formed in Haryana that will set guidelines and other criteria for it. Under this pension scheme, after your application is accepted, the money received will be sent directly to the beneficiary’s bank account or the post office account through direct bank transfer (DBT).
