Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme – The government of Andhra Pradesh has launched a scholarship scheme, especially for the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, funds will be provided to all students who wish to study and obtain higher education but who are unable to pay their fees due to the financial burden of their families.

Many students in Andhra Pradesh have a great academic degree but are unable to pay their fees because they do not have enough money even to eat properly. So, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh launched the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme to help all these students.

CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch the government of Andhra Pradesh a new scheme called the “Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme“. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to students studying in Polytechnic / ITI / Engineering / Degree / PG. This scheme was launched specifically for BPL and EWS candidates. The government will provide financial assistance to the beneficiaries of Rs. 20000 / – per annum for food and hostel expenses along with full payment. This scheme was started to enhance education and encourage postgraduate students.

Eligibility Criteria for the AP Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme

  • The applicant must be based in Andhra Pradesh.
  • The applicant must possess the 12th standard and be admitted to the college/university/institute for further education in regular courses.
  • No member of the applicant’s family must be a government employee or retired.
  • There is no family member of the applicant who pays the income tax.
  • The applicant’s family income must not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh.

Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme implementation procedures

The AP state government has not yet issued formal form-filling procedures. We will update the exact steps for the procedure as announced.

  • Eligible applicants must apply for the scheme through the official website, on the first visit to the official website.
  • Now search for an application link to fill out the application form and click on the link.
  • A new web page will appear on the desktop with an application form where you need to enter all the required details such as your name, DOB, father’s name, address, email ID, qualification, contact number, and other relevant details as required on the application form.
  • Upload You recently clicked the image and other relevant details in the specified format.
  • Now before submitting the application form, you need to review the information you enter.
  • Submit the form and take a printout of the form at the end for further use.

YSR CHEYUTHA

YSR Pension Kanuka Card

To extend Social Security pensions, the government has revised the eligibility criteria:

The total household income should be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12000/- per month in urban areas.

  • The total area of household ownership must be less than 3 acres of wetland 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of wet and dry land combined.
  • The monthly electricity consumption must be less than 300 units.
  • No family member must be a government employee or retired person
  • Households must not own 4-wheelers (taxis, cars, and tractors are exempt)
  • No family member must pay income tax.
  • In urban areas, a family does not own real estate or less than 750 square feet of building area.

(Please refer to the detailed instructions for additional criteria that must be followed for a particular type of annuity in addition to the above).

YSR Aarogyasri Card:

All households:

  • An annual income of less than or up to 5 lakhs is eligible.
  • Land less than 12 acres wet or 35 acres dry or a total of 35 acres (wet and dry).
  • Not having more than one personal vehicle
  • Families who do not own real estate or a building area of less than 3,000 square feet in the metropolitan area
  • Government employees are covered by the employee health system. So it is not covered by YSR Aarogyasri Card.

Jaganna Vidya Deevena (RTF) and Jaganna Vasathi Deevena

Deevena Cards (MTF):

  • Under Jaganann Vidya Deevena Payment of Fee in Full (RTF).
  • Under Jaganna Vasathi Deevena Rs. 20,000/- per annum per student will be provided for food and hostel expenses from the year 2019-2020.
  • All students pursuing courses in Polytechnic, ITI, Degree and above in Government, Aid and Private Colleges affiliated to State Universities/Boards.

Families:

  • His annual income is less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
  • Less wet 10 acres, 25 acres dry, or 25 acres wet and dry.
  • No member must be a government employee or retired (all sanitation workers excluded).
  • Households must not own 4-wheelers (taxis, cars, and tractors are exempt)
  • No family member must pay income tax.
  • In municipal areas that have less than 1,500 square feet of built-up area

YSR Sunna Vaddi

As per the assurance given by the honorable Chairman of the Board, to reduce the interest burden on poor women from SHGs, it is proposed to pay the interest portion for the financial year 2019-20 on the SHG Bank loan amount due as of 11/04/2019 under YSR Sunna Vadi.

  • All self-help women in rural and urban areas with outstanding bank loan accounts are entitled to up to INR 5.00.
  • SHG Loan Accounts declared NPA as of 31/03/2019 as per SERP and MEPMA database are not eligible.

Jagananna Amma Vodi

Jagananna Amma Vodi is one of the pioneering programs announced by the Honorable Prime Minister under Navaratnalu to provide financial assistance to every recognized mother/guardian below the poverty line, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, and region to enable them to educate their child/children from class 1 to 12 in all types of schools/colleges for the son of the academic year 2019-2020.

As per the eligibility criteria, the Village Volunteer will collect information and hand it over to the Mandal Education Officer for the process and subsequent penalties.

YSR Kapu Nestham

The aim of this scheme is the financial empowerment of Kabu women above the age of 45 by enhancing their livelihood opportunities and living standards with financial assistance of Rs.75,000/ at the rate of Rs.15,000/annually.

  • Women belonging to the Kabu community between the ages of 45 to 60 are eligible.
  • The total household income should be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12000/- per month in urban areas.
  • The total household land holding must be less than 3 acres of wetland 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of wet and dry land combined.
  • No family member must be a government employee or retired person
  • Households must not own 4-wheelers (taxis, cars, and tractors are exempt)
  • No family member must pay income tax.
  • In urban areas, a family does not own real estate or less than 750 square feet of building area.

Honorarium to Imams, Muazams, Pastors, and Archakas

Affirmation of the Honorable Chief Minister Paying tribute to pastors/shepherds, imams, and muezzins and increasing the salaries of Arcas. Detailed guidelines will be issued by the respective departments.

The concerned departments will determine the beneficiaries to provide the financial assistance.

Financial Assistance to Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, and Tailors

Financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 (ten thousand rupees only) per annum will be given to the Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, and tailors of BC society. Eligibility criteria are as follows;

Nayee Brahmins

Those who belong to the Nayee Brahmin community who have been involved in the profession of barbering and who have a permanent or mobile facility in their name are eligible for financial assistance. They must be in a category below the poverty line and must have a white ration card. They must have a registered store.

Rajakas

Those who must belong to the Rajaka community and who are engaged in a dhobi profession and have a permanent or mobile establishment in their name are eligible for financial assistance. They must be in a category below the poverty line and must have a white ration card. They must have a registered store.

Tailors

All members of the BC community who are involved in the sewing profession and have a permanent facility or mobile enterprise are eligible for financial aid. They must be in a category below the poverty line and must have a white ration card. They must have a registered store.

YSR Nethanna Nestham

To help every handloom weaver family to upgrade their equipment and compete with the power loom sector by saving Rs. 24000/- p.a. This scheme will be implemented from December 2019.

  • The weaver’s family must be below the poverty line.
  • One benefit for one weaver family, regardless of the number of looms it owns.

The Handlooms and Textiles Department has already identified the eligible beneficiaries for sanctioning financial assistance under the scheme.
