Shaadi Bhagya Scheme – ಶಾದಿ ಭಾಗ್ಯ, The Karnataka state government launched Taali Bhagya Yojana to bear the increased cost of wedding expenses to help poor Hindu families. This scheme is part of the previous CM Siddaramaiah Shadi Bhagia Scheme and is a master plan for minorities. All temples will spend 55,000 rupees for a couple including Taali of 8-gram gold worth 40,000 rupees.
Under this scheme, 5,000 rupees will be given to the groom and 10,000 rupees to the bride for clothing and other wedding experiences. Cash will be deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiary of Taali Bhagya immediately after the wedding.

Karnataka Taali Bhagya Scheme Details
The Karnataka government launched Taali Bhagya Yojana to provide money for traditional wedding attire. Previously, the Shaadi Bhagya scheme was limited to BPL families. However, Taali Bhagya’s plan has no income limit. Collective marriage will take place in 90 to 100 selected A-class temples with good income and good resources. This includes temples Kukke Subramanya and Chamundeshwari.

Taali Bhagya scheme for poor Hindu girls
Mangalasutra-Taali will be purchased in a transparent manner and the District Commissioner will take responsibility for distributing it. The department will invite requests from 1,000 couples who wish to marry statewide. To take advantage of the benefits of Taali Bhagya Yojana, the bride and groom’s parents must be present at the wedding. This is a mandatory requirement that must be fulfilled to ensure that there are no fleeing husbands.
The state government has considered the conditions for determining the date and those who marry can choose either of these dates. Previously, Chief Minister Ramakrishna Hegde announced a similar scheme in 1983-1984 for poor families and the BBL. The Karnataka government gave 10 grams of Taali while hosting group marriages.
