WB লক্ষ্মী ভান্ডার পোর্টাল সম্পর্কে – The Laxmi Bhandar Prakalp scheme is a scheme funded by the state government and implemented by the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Govt West Bengal. Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial support to female heads of households who live in both urban and rural areas of the state. Any monthly assistance to general households of Rs 500/- (i.e. 6000/- per year) and SC/ST women will be given Rs 1,000/- per month (i.e. 12,000/- on an annual basis). The estimated annual budget expenditure for the scheme will be ₹ 12,900 crores.
