To empower women in rural Maharashtra, the state government has announced the start of the Mahasamruddhi Mahila Sashaktikaran Scheme Project on March 8, 2021. In order to enhance women’s confidence, the state government will promote the inclusion of wives’ names next to their husbands in excerpt 7/12.   • Women cell members at the village level and the State Rural Livelihoods Mission will also be involved.
  • The Mahasamriddhi Mahila Sashaktikaran Scheme Program will start on International Women’s Day.
  • The state government will provide self-help groups with sustainable markets and effective branding tools to promote their products.
  • Food products will be linked by self-help groups to a strong market chain, including government offices, canteens, shopping malls, and private outlets to enable women to earn higher wages.
  • Skills development workshops will also be conducted in the Maha Samriddhi Mahila Sashaktikaran scheme.
  • Special stores for women will be set up and beneficiaries will be provided with financial support, including low-interest loans.
  • Rural women entrepreneurs will also be offered free legal advice.
