Namo Saraswati Yojana Gujarat 2024 Scheme is specially available for students in Gujarat enrolled in classes XI and XII and studying in the Science stream. The financial assistance provided by this scheme will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible students. Namo Saraswati Yojana Gujarat 2024 aims to inspire and support students to pursue careers in science. To benefit from this scheme, applicants must complete the application process.
The twenty-first century is the era of science and technology, where information technology and related technologies touch all aspects of life. New opportunities are also opening up in high-value jobs in technology-related sectors, for which STEM education is crucial. To stimulate increased enrollment in STEM subjects, & propose the Namo Saraswati scheme. Under this scholarship scheme, students enrolled in the science stream in senior secondary schools (from low and middle-income families) will be assisted with INR 10,000 per annum while studying in Class 11 and INR 15,000 per annum while studying in Class 12. This assistance is worth INR 25,000 over two years for students The number of students enrolled in science subjects is expected to increase from 2 lakh to 5 lakh annually over the next five years.

Objective of Namo Saraswati Yojana
The main objective of launching Namo Saraswati Yojana is to encourage students to study science as their subject. The government wants students to increase their knowledge in the fields of IT and science with the help of this scheme. Financial assistance of INR 10,000 will be provided to students pursuing the science stream in the 11th class and INR 15,000 will be provided to students in the 12th class. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. This scheme will increase the number of students pursuing a science stream in Gujarat.
