Benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Scheme
Students will receive the following benefits from the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme, details are provided below:
- Under this scheme, the government will provide a scholarship of Rs. 25,000 for students who bring 85% of the number at the twelfth level.
- Under this scheme, students who earn 75% in the semester will be awarded 12 scholarships of 10,000 rupees each month for a period of ten months.
- Students whose parents are in the Army, Navy, and Air Force, these students can also apply for the scholarship scheme.
- The central government will also provide benefits to students who are good at studying but who are financially vulnerable.
- Under this scholarship scheme, students who have passed 10th/12th wishing to continue studying or take any course but are unable to do so due to financial problems, the government will bear the expenses of these students.
- Students who wish to prepare for any type of business course will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 20,000 per month for 4-5 years.
- These students must have at least a 50% number in each subject. If the student number is less than 50%, that student’s scholarship will be suspended

- To receive benefit from the PM Modi Scholarship Scheme, the student’s annual family income must not exceed Rs. 6 lakh.
- Under this scheme, the scholarship will be offered only to students of regular scholarship courses.
