Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana: The Punjab government, Ayushman Bharat Sarbat, launched a farmer’s health insurance scheme. Under this scheme, every farmer is entitled to non-cash health insurance coverage of Rs. 5 lakh per household per year.
People can benefit from non-monetary and paper therapy in government and private hospitals. All farmers who sold their products in 2018 and 2019 can benefit from a free health treatment scheme.
Punjab AB Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana 2022
The Punjab State Council Mandi Ayushman Bharat – Sarbat scheme has launched a health insurance scheme for all farmers in the country. This AB-SSBY is a state health insurance scheme in that farmers can take advantage of non-monetary treatment of Rs. 5 lakh.
To take advantage of the benefits of Punjab Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Seva Bima Yojana, the state government has started calling the toll-free number 104 on the farmers’ helpline. For more information, farmers can visit the official AB-SSY website www.mandiboard.nic.in or www.shapunjab.in. People can now benefit from the Ayushman Bharat Sarbat health insurance plan for Punjab farmers.
Already registered farmers should contact the Market Committee offices for the following purposes:
- Check the name of the farmers
- To obtain an Identity card
- Add names of family members
- Information about government hospitals
- Information about private hospitals

This scheme is effective for other categories of people in the state where the hospital list and the list of beneficiaries are still available on the official website – www.mandiboard.nic.in.
