Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma has now announced the launch of the Shiksha Setu Assam Portal to improve the education system in the state. The main goal of this portal is to provide public and private schools with comprehensive information about their employees and students through electronic media. Besides, schools will have to upload at least 40 documents to complete the profile update process. All citizens will be eligible to view the e-school category, management, nearest institute details, SMC contact details, school principal contact details, school photo, and land details along with GPS location, assembly, parliamentary constituency, etc.
