Through this portal, citizens of Tamil Nadu can apply for various types of government services electronically through a common service centre. Generally, applications for various types of certificates will be made available through the Tamil Nadu District e-Portal Income Certificates, Caste Certificates, Domicile Certificates, Guardianship Certificates, Legal Heir Certificates, etc. Citizens are required to submit a copy of these certificates in various places. All citizens of Tamil Nadu can apply for the above certificate through the portal.

Tamil Nadu E District 2024
Citizens of Tamil Nadu can now easily apply for various types of certificates created by the Tamil Nadu government. You do not have to visit any kind of government officials to apply for a particular certificate through the development of this official website which is known as the Tamil Nadu District Portal. If you are a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu, you will be allowed to apply and verify various types of certificates through the official Tamil Nadu e-Zone created by the Government of Tamil Nadu for citizens of Tamil Nadu State.
Citizens will be provided with applications through which we will be able to apply electronically to obtain various types of certificates at the Shared Service Center, and different types of certificates will be created through the development of this official portal. About e-District
e-District is a State Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan. The project aims to target high-volume services and undertake backend computerization to electronically enable the delivery of these services through Common Service Centres (CSC).
e-District has been envisaged by the Government of Tamil Nadu as automation of workflow and internal processes of District Administration with the possibility of seamless integration of various departments including Revenue, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare, BC and MBC Welfare, District Social Welfare, etc. for providing services to the citizens. This project is of paramount importance to the State as it would help in creating an automated workflow system for the district administration and help in providing efficient department services through Common Service Centres (CSCs)the primary front-end channels envisaged under the NeGP program by the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), Government of India (GoI).

- You will have to click on the option called “Register” and the registration form will open on your screen.
- You will have to fill out the registration form with all your details and upload all the documents.
- You will have to submit a registration form and complete your registration.

- On the home page, you have to click on Verify Certificate.
- A new page will appear in front of you.
- On this new page, you have to enter the certificate number.
- Now you have to click on search.
- Your certificate will appear in front of you.
- You need to click on search and the certificate will open on your screen.
Download Certificate
- Go to the official website of TN e-government – https://tnedistrict.tn.gov.in/.
- The home page will open in front of you.
- On the home page, you have to click on Verify Certificate.
- Now you have to click on Click here to download the certificate.
- A new page will appear in front of you.
- On this new page, you have to enter the certificate number and verification code.
- Now you have to click on search.
- Your certificate will appear in front of you.
- You have to click on the download option to download it.
