70,000 Crores Will Be Spent On Developing Cities
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that if there is cleanliness then there is health and if there is health then there is happiness. Therefore, to make the state number one in the country in hygiene, we must all pledge together. Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that we must all also resolve to defeat Corona by wearing masks and keeping the distance. CM Shri Chauhan encouraged everyone to plant trees.
Chief Minister of MP has announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana to provide self-employment for all in the program. CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Rs 70,000 crore will be spent on developing cities in the next five years. Development and general welfare work will continue. Roads, electricity, water, underground sewage, and tap water will be provided in every home.
All Urban Bodies Are Associated With The Program
Finance Minister Shri Jagdish Deora, Minister of Urban Development and Housing Shri Bubendra Singh, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Science and Technology Shri Om Prakash Sakhlecha, and Khajuraho MP Shri V.D. Sharma, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Smt. Mr. Krishna Gur, Chief Secretary for Urban Development and Housing Shri Nitesh Vyas, and representatives of the public attended. All urban bodies have been linked in the organized program on a hypothetical basis. Almost all ministers, MPs, and MLAs have joined the program.
Three new programs have started on infrastructure, drinking water purification, and sanitation
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan has begun distributing the first and second installment of around Rs 1,602 crore to more than one lakh 60 thousand families under the leadership of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Mission Nagarodaya. Rs. 100 crores have been distributed to one beneficiary from 407 urban bodies and 5 collection areas under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. In the program, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan provided an amount of about Rs. 810 crore to urban bodies for development work under the 15th Finance Commission.
Bhumi-pooja carried out and grounded the development works at a cost of Rs. 500 crores of Amrit Yojana, smart city, and civilian elements were placed in the third phase of the Chief Minister’s urban infrastructure. An additional Rs. 100 crore was released for urban road repair and construction. The road map for the five-year development plan was prepared at the authority level. A roadmap of Rs. 44,000 crore has been issued to develop urban bodies in the next five years. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also announced the launch of the fourth phase of urban infrastructure, the Chief Minister’s urban drinking water purification plant, and the Chief Minister’s Urban Sanitation Mission.
Special programs will be set up in the places of birth of martyrs and their places of work
CM Shri Chauhan said that after 75 years of independence activities began under the leadership of Amrit Mahotsav. In parallel with the anti-militants, he said that the programs will be held in all districts of the state to commemorate their memories. Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, CM Shri Chauhan said that the vision and ability to turn the disaster into an opportunity in difficult times for Corona was only possible with the efforts.
Every poor will have a house or apartment in the next four years
In the next four years, all poor people in Madhya Pradesh will have their own homes or apartment. Better transportation arrangements will be made to facilitate city buses, e-rickshaws, and parking lots. Arrangements are being made to increase the number of parks, libraries, Deendayal kitchen centers, special facilities for the elderly and people of different capacities, shelters for the needy, CM Rise Schools for Quality Education, and Sanjeevani Mohalla clinics for medical facilities.
Illegal colonies will be legalized
Every city will have its own master plan and disaster management plan. The rejuvenation of religious sites and the preservation of heritage continues. Prime Minister Shri Chauhan announced the legalization of illegal colonies. He said that no illegal colony would be allowed to develop in the future. Government officials will be responsible for this.
Poor should not be affected while removing infringements
The rule of law would prevail over Madhya Pradesh. No mafia will be allowed to dictate the terms. Land mafia, law violators will not be extradited. The state government is committed to protecting women. To date, 72 people who committed atrocities against women have been sentenced to death. Many activities are taking place to make life smooth. Arrangements are being made to provide income certificates, copies of Khasra-Khatauni, payment of bills, and various permissions online so that citizens do not have to visit offices to do normal activities. The campaign is also continuing to liberate cities from encroachment. Officers were given clear instructions not to affect the poor in anti-bullying campaigns MP Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma said the crisis in Madhya Pradesh had turned into an opportunity.
In the past, CM Shri Chauhan carried out an operation in Bravesh which involved 75,000 homeless people. It is now possible to deposit the amount without intermediaries into the accounts of the poor. PM Shri Modi and CM Shri Chauhan have given transparent governance in Madhya Pradesh.
Today is Gifts Day – Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh
The Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Shri Bhupendra Singh, said today is the Day of Gifts. Due to CM Shri Chauhan’s sensitivity to the poor, the state’s citizens got diverse relief in difficult Corona conditions. Chief Minister Shri Chauhan is making continuous efforts to ensure that every poor have their own home and have access to all basic facilities. Shri Singh said that this is a historic moment when CM Shri Chauhan is throwing gifts on the bodies of cities. He said that more than Rs 3,000 crores are being offered to urban bodies with a single click. Funds for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), P.M. Swanidhi, PM infrastructure items, road repairs, etc. Bhopal is number one in Smart City and Indore in terms of cleanliness.
Screening of a short film on urban development
The program started with Kanya pujan Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. And the song “Nari Samman” was presented on this occasion. An exhibition focused on the development work carried out by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation was presented, and a short film summarizing urban development was presented. Former MP Shri Alok Sanjar, former Minister Shri Uma Shankar Gupta, ex-MLA Shri Dhuvranarayan Singh, and former Mayor Shri Alok Sharma also attended the program.
