Financial assistance is provided to all state governments to marry poor girls from their states. In this sequence, the Uttarakhand state government also decided to provide financial assistance to the families of poor and needy girls in the state through their marriage. For this, the government launched the “Uttarakhand Shadi Anudan Yojana“.
Under this scheme, families living below the SC / ST poverty line, whose income limit is 15,000 rupees / – per year, or belonging to the BPL family, as financial aid for a maximum marriage of two daughters. Up to 50,000 rupees / – will be provided. A maximum of two widowed daughters of the General BPL family will receive a total amount of Rs 50,000 / – like financial aid for their marriage. As Uttarakhand Shadi Hetu Anudan Yojana is currently based on a limited budget, payment is only possible on a priority list basis based on budget availability.

Vivah-Shadi Anudan Yojana Uttarakhand – The Uttarakhand government, launched a new scheme for minority girls in the country. This scheme was named by the Uttarakhand government under the name “Uttarakhand Marriage Grant Scheme“. Under this scheme, girls belonging to the BPL family will enjoy the benefits of this scheme. For a family with two daughters for marriage, the government will provide up to 50,000 rupees to support the financial situation.

शादी हेतु अनुदान योजना
अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति के गरीबी की सीमा रेखा से नीचे जीवन यापन करने वाले परिवार, जिनकी आय सीमा रू. 15,000/- (रू. पन्द्रह हजार मात्र) वार्षिक अथवा बी.पी.एल. परिवार से सम्बन्धित हों, को अधिकतम दो पुत्रियों के विवाह हेतु आर्थिक सहायता के रूप में एकमुश्त रू. 50,000/- (रू. पचास हजार मात्र) तक की धनराशि प्रदान की जाएगी। सामान्य श्रेणी के बी.पी.एल. परिवार की विधवाओं की अधिकतम दो पुत्रियों को भी उनके विवाह हेतु आर्थिक सहायता के रूप में एकमुश्त रू. 50,000/- (रू. पचास हजार रू. मात्र) तक की धनराशि प्रदान की जायेगी। चूंकि उक्त योजना वर्तमान में सीमित बजट पर निर्भर करती है, अत: इसमें बजट की उपलब्धता के आधार पर ही भुगतान प्राथमिकता सूची के आधार पर संभव है। इसके अतिरिक्त जिस वर्ष में विवाह हुआ हो, उसी वर्ष आवेदन (1 मार्च से अगले वर्ष 28-29 फरवरी के विवाह) के आवेदन ही उस वर्ष मान्य होते हैं।

- Shadi Hetu Anudan Yojana will provide financial assistance up to Rs 50,000.
