The Government of Uttarakhand has approved Udayman Chhatra Yojana / उत्तराखंड उदयमान छात्र योजना on July 27, 2021. In this scheme, the State Government will offer a scholarship to all candidates who pass the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) preliminary examinations. Moreover, scholarships will also be awarded to 100 candidates who pass the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Examination. The state government will provide financial assistance only to the candidates who pass the preliminary examination of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and UPSC. Financial assistance of Rs 50,000 will be offered to the candidate who will pass the UPSC/State Public Service Commission preliminary examination. This amount will be paid to the candidate in one go so that he will not face any problems in preparing for the main exam. The government will put the entire money into the candidate’s bank account.

The Uttarakhand State cabinet or Council of Ministers approved a proposal to award Rs. 50,000 for all candidates who pass the UPSC Preliminary Examinations and 100 selected candidates from the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. This scholarship will be offered under a new scheme, Udayman Chhatra Yojana.

Here are the full eligibility criteria to become eligible for the UK Udayman Chhatra Scheme:-

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
• Candidate must have passed the UPSC Examination and State PSC prelims.
• The applicant must belong to a poor family, and income criteria must be determined.

• Airports Authority of India has been appointed as a consultant for Pantnagar Greenfield Airport. The DPR must be submitted within 6 months.
• The government has formed a 4-member committee headed by IAS retired for recommendations on ACP and pay differential issues.
