Under this scheme, 4,500 survey teams and 15,000 surveyors will participate in AP YSR Jaganna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam Scheme. As per an estimate, the cost of a land survey would be around Rs. 987.46 Crore. Government AP will do the following things – mark boundaries, issue books of accounts to landowners, and create a mobile court to resolve land disputes on the spot.
It is too late to conduct such a land survey and is being conducted in Andhra Pradesh after a gap of more than 100 years. After the survey, each plot will be assigned a unique number, which enables the beneficiary to know the full details of his land, along with providing legal rights to avoid disputes.

More than 10,000 people attended the Chief Minister’s public meeting at Gantela Sakuntalama College to get a degree in Jaggaiahpet. Land records will be updated with the latest technology by the government in cooperation with the Indian Survey Authority. Andhra Pradesh state government and India Survey will form 70 base stations for the mega land survey.
The landowners will get a property card with a unique identification number, measurements of the property, and other details. All the details of the village lands will be on the maps. Survey stones will be installed once the ground marking is completed.
Data Security After a Land Survey in Andhra Pradesh
Governmental AP will secure the records after the survey in a way that no one can tamper with them. Safety features should not be guaranteed and the printout must be with the landowners.
The land title card, consisting of a unique identification number, property measurements, name of the owner, photo and the total area of the owner will be submitted after the survey. Digital cadastral maps will be prepared after the survey is completed. All the details of the village lands will be on the maps.
Survey stones will be installed once the ground marking is finished. A digital property registry, property registry, and complaints register will be provided at the Village Secretariats.
Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Scheme Land Survey Stages/Phases
The land survey will be conducted on an area of 1.26 lakh square kilometers across the state in villages, towns, and cities, excluding forest lands. The survey will be conducted in 3 stages in 13 districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh, and the number of villages covered in each stage of the land survey is as follows: –
- First Phase – About 5,000 villages will be covered in the 1st phase.
- Second Phase – 6,500 villages in the 2nd phase
- Third Phase – around 5,500 villages in the 3rd phase.
All district officials have arranged the launch of the AP YSR Scheme.
